Thomas Keeling Horne

Thomas Keeling Horne, 29, of Ashland, passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2018. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dr. Robert D. Keeling and paternal grandparents, Richard and Dorothy Horne. Thomas enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing and hunting. Had he pursued a different career, he would have made an exquisite chef. Thomas was an exceptional father, son, friend, and big brother. He is survived by the loves of his life, his daughter, Talulah Reese Horne and significant other, Trisha M. Woods; parents, Richard and Gloria Horne; brother, John Horne; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Q. "Momma Dot" Keeling; aunts and uncles, Anne and Jeffrey Buck, R. Dan and Pam Keeling, Mike and Diane Coleman, Warren and Mary Keeling, Barbara and Steve Correll and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 5-7 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory - Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 10 am at First Baptist Church Ashland, 800 Thompson Street, Ashland, VA 23005.
