Beryl Tresa Jordison

Beryl Tresa Jordison (LeCaine) passed away peacefully on February 25, 2017 at the Assiniboia Union Hospital Long Term Care in Assiniboia, SK. Mom was born September 16, 1938 at Wood Mountain, SK. She worked for a few years at the Club Café in Assiniboia before she met and married the love of her life, Robert, on October 28, 1959. They made their home at Crane Valley where they farmed and raised cattle. During this time, Mom loved to curl at all the local bonspiels, attend gift night dances, play cards, play ball and keep in touch with all her family. Mom was a teacher in all ways. She loved the simple things in life and never asked for anything. Mom always loved and needed to see her family and now leaves the legacy of the importance of brothers and sisters. Mom was predeceased by her husband of over 55 years, Robert (2014), her son Ronald (1986), her parents George and Adele LeCaine and all her siblings. Mom will forever be remembered in the hearts of her children: sons Morley and Bruce (Karen), daughters Alison (Calvin) Sherwin and Roberta (Arnold) Montgomery; sister-in-law Margaret Andrews; adopted sister Verna Ogle; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Prayers were held Wednesday Evening at Ross Funeral Chapel, led by Patty and Marcel Gendre. Funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, March 2, 2017 at St. George’s R.C. Church, Assiniboia, SK with celebrant Father Juanito Vargas. Readers were Patty Gendre and Lindsey Jordison. Honorary Pallbearers were ‘all those who shared in Mom’s life’. Pallbearers were grandchildren: Jeremy, Jamey, Shylo and Austin Jordison, Lee and Lance Montgomery. Interment took place in Crane Valley Municipal Cemetery, Crane Valley, SK.
