Catherine May Booth McRae

With sadness in our heart we announce the passing of Catherine May McRae, age 96 years on February 6th, 2015. She is predeceased by her husband Clifford, son Jack, son-in-law Eli Juravle as well as one sister and four brothers. She is survived by four daughters: Pat Juravle, Rita (Brian Gieni), Debbie Whelan, Catherine (Brian Eloschuk), Georgina Rustad McRae Phillips (daughter-in-law), brother Donald Booth (Thelma) and sister-in-law Dot Booth as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dot was born in the Glasnevin area. She married Clifford McRae in 1941 and they farmed east of Bengough for several years. She loved sports and gardening and she was actively involved in the Bengough Drop In Center where she honed her skills as a rummy and shuffleboard player. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. We would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Bengough Health Center for the amazing care our mom received. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bengough Health Center. Family Service was held Wednesday, Februry 11, 2015 in Ross Funeral Chapel. The Reverend Marilyn Leuty officiated. Interment will take place in the Bengough Cemetery.
