It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Donald (Donnie) Ingram on May 5, 2021 in Wolseley Lakeside Nursing Home. He was born on May 11, 1947 in Coronach Sask. He was the youngest of 10 other siblings born to Margaret and Leo Ingram. He is survived by his sister, Donna Thurlow and one daughter, Pamela, as well as many nieces and nephews. He grew up in the farming community of Coronach. In his younger years, he enjoyed rabbit and gopher hunting with his brothers. After finishing school one of his first jobs in Coronach was in the plumbing and backhoe business for a local plumber. He left the community of Coronach and moved to Regina where he spent the rest of his life prior to moving to Wolseley. He was as a hard-working successful self-employed trucker. As well he was involved in other construction work for various employers in the city of Regina. He enjoyed gardening and the taste of fresh vegetables, along with a favorite desert of his mother’s, which was coconut cake or tapioca pudding. As the years passed, he became a reserved man keeping mainly to himself. However, when his busy work schedule allowed some free time, he enjoyed the occasional fishing trip with the boys. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Wolseley Lakeside Nursing Home. Also, a thank you is extended to Tubman Funeral Home/Valley Crematorium and the Ross Funeral Home for their services. A private service will be held at a later date. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy for the Ingram family may be shared at www.rossfuneralservice.com.
