George Eugene Bartole

It is with great sadness the family of George announce his passing in Assiniboia, SK on March 21, 2026 at the age of 84.

George was born May 29,1941 in Coronach, SK. He is predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Karen (nee Risdahl), infant brother Leslie, sisters Irene Ayers, Dorothy Fister, Margaret King, brothers Clifford and Jacob Bartole. He is lovingly survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra Bartole (nee Thurlow), daughters Sherry Krusk (husband Eugene Krusk and children Megan and Leah), Shannon Bartole (children James and Neely), Melanie Orvold (husband Chad Phipps and children Spencer, Ali and Camryn); sisters Yvonne Gillies, Beverly Winter, Deanna Cenaiko and Sylvia Thurlow, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at Ross Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 1:00 pm. Interment at the Buffalo Gap Cemetery, Coronach, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the Palliative Care Unit of the Assiniboia Union Hospital.
