With heavy hearts, we announce that Glenn Ching, age 62, passed away October 3, 2024 with family at his side. Glenn is survived by wife Wendy, son Wyatt and wife Kendall and their son Weston, his mother Florence, sister Debbie (Gary) Carlson, brother Don (Denise), nieces and nephews; Wendy’s mom Joyce, brother Warren (Johanna), sister-in-law Tammy (Tim), nieces and nephews; Wendy’s birth family, Gerry, Jason and Mike (Susan). Glenn was predeceased by his father Grant (2013), brother Allan (1978), Wendy’s dad Ross (1998) and birth mother Bonny (2024).
A Celebration of Glenn’s life was held Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Rockglen Community Hall, Rockglen, SK. Donations in memory of Glenn may be made to South Country Health Care Foundation, PO Box 1750, Assiniboia SK S0H 0B0 or The Town of Rockglen - Grasslands Trust Fund for Palliative Care.
Glenn was born and raised on the family ranch in the Rockglen area. He enjoyed being with his family, the cows, horses and dog, Gem. Glenn would rarely turn down an opportunity to ride a horse or work cattle. He said that he had the best friends anyone could ask for.
