Mary Henrikson

Mary (Papuc) Henrickson passed away peacefully in the Moose Jaw Union Hospital with her daughter Virginia Farwell and her granddaughter Avery Pearton at her side. Mary was born September 24, 1919 in the Elm Springs District, raised on the farm and attended school in Flintoft. Mary married Harry Henrikson and resided in the Hawley School District, Lake of the Rivers, north east of Assiniboia, then retired to Assiniboia. She was the oldest of eleven children being predeceased by her father George Papuc, mother Elena (Vatamaniuk) Papuc; her brothers William, Dan, Pete, Gus, and John; sisters Eleanora and Virginia and sister-in-law Jean. Mary is also predeceased by her husband Harry, son Harold, son-in-law Ken Farwell; sister and brother-in-law Minnie & Gunnar Olson; father-in-law Lars Henrikson, cousin Oscar Ingvarson and brothers-in-law Wilmer and Art.

Mary is survived by her children: Virginia Farwell, Marlow (Bernie), Terry (Brenda) and Miles; nine grandchildren: April (Russ), Avery (Randy), Trevor (Jackie), Jamie (Julie), Jarred (Pam), Travis (Jill), Kara (Blair), Cody (Melissa) and Chad; nine great-grandchildren: Jacob, Krista (Devon), Jordan, Shivon, Hayley, Dez, Kohl, Madison and Cayden; her brother Nick (Donna); sisters Laura Catling, Margaret Skarbon; sisters-in-law Lil Papuc and Leila Papuc, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
