Mitchell Daniel Boghean

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our oldest brother, Mitchell Boghean on August 25, 2018 in Lafleche, Saskatchewan. Mitch was born March 13, 1941 at Lafleche, SK. He attended Crestmont and Lafleche schools. In his youth Mitch was an accomplished baseball player scouted by the Pittsburgh Pirates Organization. He had a lifelong love of sports and spent many hours supporting his niece and nephew on the ball diamond and at the ice rink. Mitch attended STI in Moose Jaw where he obtained his Master Carpenter with Interprovincial Red Seal Certification. He spent many years as a finishing carpenter and cabinet maker. There are many high end houses and restaurants that proudly display his handiwork! Mitch retired in Lafleche to take care of his mother Georgina and brother Constantine until their passing. Predeceased by their father Daniel, mother Georgina, infant brother Donnie, infant sister Shirley, brother Constantine (Connie) and numerous aunts and uncles, Mitch will be missed by brother Dennis (Carole), sister Debbie (Richard) Smith; nieces and nephews: Bonnie Boghean (Cory Ginter); Tom (Brenda) Boghean and their son Daniel, Courtney (Sheldon Cey) and their family Carson, Brendan, William and Sarah; and Curtis (Marissa) Smith. Graveside service was held September 1, 2018 at 1:00 pm at St. Peter & Paul Orthodox Cemetery, Flintoft, SK.
