Muriel Robstad (nee Tendler) of Assiniboia, SK passed away February 26, 2025 in Assiniboia. Gertrude Katherine ‘Muriel’ was born on February 20, 1933 at Bengough, SK, the fourth child of six children born to Joseph and Gertrude Tendler. She attended school in the Viceroy district. Muriel married Melvin Robstad and had one son, Donald and one grandson, Coal. Muriel moved to Assiniboia where she worked for many years before retiring and moving to the Manor in the late ‘90s.
Muriel is survived by grandson Coal (Paige) Andrews-Robstad, one great-grandson Reid, one great-granddaughter Rhea, sister Hazel Stroh and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by son Donald Robstad, brothers John Tendler, Clarence Tendler, Mel Tendler and George Tendler (in infancy).
