McCormick, John James, November 14, 1917- August 17, 2012 was a long time resident of Yorkville and Woodside, NY. Beloved husband of the late Nell (Lane). Devoted and loving father of Ellen Muscato (Mike), Deirdre Stubbert (Ron) and John Kevin McCormick. Adored Pop Pop of Sean, Lane Marie and Colin. Great Pop Pop of Christopher and Kellen. Loving brother of the late Andrew McCormick (Helen), Margaret Gymarthy (Stevie) and Elizabeth Dean (Raymond). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. John was a long time member of The American Legion Post 1836, Woodside, NY.
