Marilyn McHugh

Marilyn (Pat) McHugh passed away peacefully on Thursday February 1, 2018 in Hudson, Fla. She was born on March 17, 1926 in Manhattan, NY and was the daughter of the late Frank McHugh and Helen Maxner McHugh. She lived a wonderful life in Astoria, NY from an early age. Pat also had along career at Guardian Life on Park Ave. S. in Manhattan before retiring. She was a world traveler and an active member of St. Joseph’s R. C. Church. Her survivors include nephews Dennis (Maggie) McHugh of Latham, NY and James (Terry) McHugh of Hudson, FL. She was pre-deceased by niece Jeanne Treacy. Also surviving are nephews Rob (Magdelena) Treacy of Tampa FL, and Dan (Yan) McHugh of Brooklyn NY and nieces Theresa Gregory of East Quogue NY, Erin (Sean Naftel) Treacy of Woodside NY and Michelle (Tim) of Tampa FL. She will be deeply missed by many dear cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends may call at Thomas M. Quinn Funeral Home, 35-20 Broadway, Long Island City, NY 11106 on Tuesday Feb. 6 and Wednesday Feb. 7 from 4pm to 8pm each evening. Mass will be held at 9am on Thursday Feb. 8th at St. Joseph’s Church, 43-19 30th Ave, Astoria NY 11103. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, 49-02 Laurel Hill Boulevard, Woodside, NY 11377
