Dorothy Scott, also known to many of her friends simply as "Scotty" passed on Sunday, July 27, 2014. Dorothy was born in Telbury, England on June 28, 1936. After meeting her future husband, Keith Scott in London, Dorothy moved to California and married on August 10, 1957. After starting a family she began working for Thrifty Drug Store. She remained with the company for 23 years until she retired. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, especially a love of flowers. She preferred the outdoors and was an avid walker. Her talented skill of knitting resulted in many treasured gifts of sweaters and afghans over the years. She is survived by her two daughters Corina Glasmeier and Brenda Horton Semans; four grandchildren, Kyle Glasmeier, Katelyn Glasmeier, Jason Horton and Brian Horton; a half sister, Jean Organ of England. She was preceded in death by her mother Sheila Organ of England and her husband of fifty years Clarence Keith Scott. Dorothy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
