George Lester, 63, Paso Robles, died suddenly Saturday, September 17, 2016, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident, in San Luis Obispo County. George was born January 19, 1953 in Modesto. He was longtime resident of Paso Robles, California. He was a retired California Highway Patrolman, where he served from 1984 until his retirement in 2005. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Lester; his two sons, Jordan and Jae Lester; his daughter, Jennifer Proper; his daughter-in-law, Lisa Lester; his son-in-law, Shawn Proper; his grandchildren, Dean, Savannah, Chane and Cole. He is preceded in death by his son, Jovan Lester. Graveside services and burial will be held at 2:00p.m., Friday, September 23 at the Paso Robles District Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jordan Lester, Jae Lester, Shawn Proper, Chane Lester, Cole Lester, DJ Larrison, Mark Milham and Rodney Dawson.
