Glenn Whitney Small

Glenn Whitney Small died Monday, June 13, 2022 in Atascadero, California. Glenn was born January 5th, 1962, in Arcadia, California. His parents were Jacqueline Jane Porter and David Whitney Small. Glenn attended California State Polytechnic University earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics.

He met his wife, Phyllis, at his best friend’s wedding rehearsal in 1988 and two years later they married. They bought a house in Atascadero, California in 1992 and remained in that home until his death.

Glenn was very active in his community. He learned from his parents to “give back” and donated much of his time as a coach for soccer, little league and Babe Ruth baseball and flag football. Also, he was on the Board for the Babe Ruth Baseball League, Cub Scout Master, Assistant Scout Master, Eucharist Minister at Saint Williams Church, Catechism Teacher and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

His profession was Project Manager and Estimator in the construction, water, and oil industry.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Phyllis Small, and their two sons, Jack W. and David B. Small.

Services will be held Monday, June 27, 5:00 PM at Saint Williams Catholic Church.

His sense of humor, voice, family values, and gift of knowledge and conversation will be missed.
