Joe Dominguez

Joe Dominguez, age 84, of Atascadero, California passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021, in his home with family nearby. Joe as he preferred to be called, was born Joseph Henry Dominguez on December 4, 1936 to loving parents Joe and Elinor Dominguez in Morro Bay California. Joe met and married the love of his life Marjorie, and together they raised their family here in the San Luis Obispo County area. Joe had a great love of sports, particularly Baseball (Dodgers) and NASCAR; passions he shared with his children and their families. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before settling into his civilian career working in construction to provide for his family.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Marjorie Dominguez. His children and their spouses; son Joseph & daughter-in-law Shellie Dominguez; daughter Monica Dominguez; son Gilbert & daughter-in-law Sherry Dominguez; grandchildren; Julie Dominguez, Lexie & Mike Melloni, Peter Dominguez, Kyle Trimmer, Cameron Emigh, and his great grandsons Clayton & Ty Melloni; as well as many other friends and extended family.

A chapel service for Joseph will be held Monday, July 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home, in Atascadero, CA.

Following the chapel service, family and friends will gather for a committal service held Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Cayucos Morro Bay Cemetery, 2451 Ocean Blvd, Cayucos, CA 93430.
