

Maggie was born in Santa Maria, CA on April 21, 1959. She graduated from Santa Maria High School in 1977 and went on to earn an AA degree in Business from Allan Hancock Jr College. She worked as an Employment Resource Specialist III at SLO Dept of Social Services. Previously she worked at Social Security Administration in Santa Maria for over 20 years.
Maggie enjoyed volunteering for Girl Scouts and 4-H. She was an active member of Embroiders Guild of America and was a Thirty-One Gifts consultant. Her many interests included several arts and crafts such as beading, knitting, and needle pointing. She loved shopping, cheering on the Atascadero Greyhounds football team, and spending time with family, especially with her two grandkids.
Maggie is predeceased by sisters, MaryLou Crook and Georgia Camba Carigo, husband, Cornelio Carigo, father, Mariano Oblanca Camba, and mother, Mary Dolores Camba.
Maggie is lovingly remembered by daughters, Shirley Carigo-Cairel of Santee and Denise Michelle Carigo of Atascadero, grandchildren Kalea Nalani Cairel and Kainoa Tulao Cairel of Santee, brother, Bernard Ortega Camba of Nipomo, sisters, Sally Simpao of South San Francisco, Florence Camba of Santa Maria, and Teresa Camba of Lompoc.
The visitation will be held at Chapel of the Roses in Atascadero on 12/12/14 from 4-8pm.
The funeral service will be held at St. Rose Catholic Church in Paso Robles on 12/13/14 at 11am. A reception will take place following the service.
