Michael Anthony Thompson

Michael was born on February 3, 1994 in Ojai, Ca. Growing up in Atascadero, Michael attended Santa Rosa Elementary, Atas. Junior High and briefly the High School. He was well known around the community. During his Junior High days, Michael was seen doing any number of tricks on his Skateboard, loving to master one trick or another. Michael loved sports, including Basketball and Football. He also loved to play the guitar. At just 21 years of age, Michael was taken from this Earth way to soon. He was a talented, smart, funny individual. Those who knew Michael, remember his contagious laughter and the smile he always had. The way he would always go out of his way to make you feel happy. Long time Friends of Michael's say he was a true friend and one of the greatest guys they have ever met. He is survived by his younger brother, Chris and his parents: Jeffrey and Kathy Thompson. Other close relatives include: His Nana, Kathy Miller and his Aunt and Uncle; Steve and Anne Hemenwey. All who will greatly miss this truly gifted and amazing person. Friends and family are welcomed to come pay their respects to Michael and celebrate his life on Sunday, July 5th, 2015. Visitation will be between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., with the celebration of his life starting at 1:00 p.m., at the Chapel of The Roses, 3450 El Camino Real Atascadero, CA.
