Paul Robert Lemos; an adoring husband and father, beloved sibling, treasured friend, respected mentor, avid diver, and stranger to no one, passed away on September 1, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Paul was born on October 11, 1959 in Santa Maria, CA, attended St. Patrick’s School and Arroyo Grande High School, and was preceded in death by his parents Tony and Isabel Lemos, and his sister Margaret Lemos. He is survived by his wife Maureen Lemos, daughter Alyxandra Lemos and son Clayton Rigoli. He also leaves behind siblings Mary Ann Porterfield, Therese Alexander, Mike Lemos, Barbara Jorge, Rick Lemos, and Liz Lemos; and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul cherished his family and a passion for life in general. He had an infectious smile that endeared him to everyone he met, and his sense of humor was both outrageous and contagious! A celebration of Paul’s life and times will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 11am to 2pm at the Atascadero Elk’s Lodge.
