On June 9th 2018 our beautiful Roselle was called home to the Lord. Her life began on January 5, 1974 in Davao, Philippines. Growing up as one of many siblings, Roselle was always a caregiver. Her passion to take care for others lead her into a successful career in nursing. While providing care as a nurse in the Philippines, she crossed paths with her future Husband Jojo. He would often ride his bicycle across town just to spend time in her presence. After being married, they expanded their family to include two cherished daughters Erika and Lara. In 2009, she was brought to the United States to work for Twin Cities Community Hospital. Roselle had a smile that would light up a room and brought comfort and care to every patient she came in contact with. As a co-worker she was a mentor and inspiration. She would often be humming or singing Christian songs in the hallway. Her daughters where her pride and joy, a day didn’t go by that she wasn’t showing her co-workers their beautiful artistic creations. She loved living in the United States, and would spend her weekends traveling and appreciating the beauty this county has to offer. The excitement and wonder in her eyes was contagious, and reminded us all not to take things for granted. Roselle loved with her whole heart and when she had a stroke in January the devastation was felt immensely by all who loved her. Being the strong and determined woman she was, Roselle worked hard with rehabilitation and was able to come home and spend time with her family before she suffered a shocking second stroke. There are people in this world that make it better by simply being a part of it, and Roselle was one of those people. Roselle was preceded in death by her mother Shirley, and left behind her loving and devoted husband Jojo Robledo, Daughters Lara and Erika, Father Antonio, Sisters Amelia, Salome, Marita, Lani and Gwendolyn, and Brothers Berly, Joseph and Tibong along with many devoted friends. As we move forward without her may we all carry her spirit and bring joyfulness and hope to all those we come in contact with. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. –Romans 14:8
