Billy Wayne Newby, age 71, of New Caney, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Billy was born November 17, 1949 to Mary Frances Elmore Stone and Cloyde Mason Newby, Jr..

Billy is survived by his daughter Tammy Pickerill; and his son Rodney Newby; his sister Claudine Dean, his sister Carolyn Barley and his brother Mike Newby, and by 2 Grandchildren.

Billy was preceded in death by his father Cloyde Mason Newby, Jr. and his mother Mary Frances Elmore Stone; his sister Mary Duncan and his brother Paul Newby.

Pallbearers: Chris Newby, Josh Newby, Keith Newby, David Shelton, Brent Shelton, David Brand

Funeral services will be on Saturday, October, 16, 2021 at 1:00pm at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Athens City Cemetery.
