Funeral Service for Mr. Billy Wayne Yarbrough will be Monday, January 9, 2012 at 2 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Eric Mattox officiating. Burial will be in Copeland Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 6 – 9 p.m.
Mr. Billy Wayne Yarbrough, a lifelong resident of Athens Alabama, passed away Friday January 6, 2012 at Athens Limestone Hospital. He was born October 5, 1936. He is the son of Jess and Mable Yarbrough. He was a 34 year employee of AT&T. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Joyce Ann Yarbrough, son Terry Yarbrough of Athens, granddaughter Savannah Yarbrough, brother Clayton Edward of Athens, sister Elaine Rose of Clinton Tennessee. A beloved Husband, Father, grandfather and friend he will be deeply missed.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Wagnon, Michael Parks, Wendall Moore, Terry Yarbrough, Randell Wagnon, and Miles Duncan.
