

David was a dedicated father to his son, Hunter, and cherished spending time with family and friends. He had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as boating, hiking, and sight-seeing. David also found joy in traveling across the United States to visit loved ones, as well as engaging in hobbies like riding all-terrain vehicles and woodworking. Despite living in Alabama, he remained a loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears.
In addition to his son, Hunter, David is survived by his brother, Terrance Alan Williams (Kim Angell), stepfather Jim Wirick, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Hale, brother Christopher Williams, father David Williams Sr., and other family members.
David served in the Army Reserve and had a successful career as a Plant Manager at Tenneco in Athens, Alabama, and Frankfort City, Indiana, as well as at Federal Mogul in Chicago, Illinois, and as a Production Manager at Lear Automotive. He was a proud alumnus of Crown Point High School, Purdue University, and Kettering University.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM at McConnell Funeral Home in Athens, AL, followed by a memorial service at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will take place in May in Crown Point, Indiana, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
David will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
