Donald Wayne Daniel

Mr. Daniel graduated from West Limestone high school in 1970. He joined the Alabama Department of Transportation, and pursued a career as a civil engineer. He traveled to every corner of the state of Alabama.

Mr. Daniel was a member of the Leggtown community for more than 40 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David Daniel and Martha Lentz; and his brother Jerry Daniel.

Mr Daniel is survived by his children Dewayne Daniel, Rebecca Murphy and husband Shannon, Jessica Ziegler and husband Cary; grandchildren Cailey and Colleen Hughes, Rainn Murphy, Tucker, A.J., and Lakeon Ziegler, David Daniel and wife Heather; great grandchildren Ethan and Wendy Daniel; brother, Larry Daniel and wife Joyce; and sisters Patricia Brewer and husband Larry, Joyce Butler and husband Bobby, and Barbara Valencia and husband Julio.

Visitation will be Saturday July 22nd at McConnell Funeral Home from 10-11am. A graveside service will be held at 12pm at Legg Cemetery with Jerry Smith officiating.
