Visitation will be Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gilliam was born December 29, 1948 in Limestone County to Arthur Ed. Freeman and Eva Louise Lewis. She was associates of Vietnam Veteran of America. She loved to play bingo and loved kids.
She was preceded in death by her father Arthur Freeman.
She is survived by her husband Danny Gilliam, one son Marcus Gilliam and wife Sheila, and one daughter April Gillman and husband Scotty; mother Louise Peppers; four grandchildren Destiny and Ethan Gilliam, Steven and Jeremy Clanton, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Gillman, Timmy Boles, Dexter Douglas, Zac Smith, John Douglas, and Steven Clanton.
