Elizabeth Brewer

Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 21th at 11 a.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Brother Allen Ames officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brewer was born April 18, 1927 in Colbert county Alabama. She was a homemaker and a member of Light House Baptist Church in Athens.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Ellis Nichols, who gave his life in World War II, and her second husband of over fifty years, James E. Brewer, and two sisters.

She is survived by her children: Linwood Nichols and wife Gail, Hershel Nichols and wife Betty, Barbara Johnson and husband James, Caroline Stephens and husband Jimmy, Joyce McMunn and husband Stanley, Brenda Jackson, and the other one. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Terry Nichols, Austin Nichols, Troy Gray, Zac Tribble, Aaron Tribble, and Dillon Dunn.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Thomas, Jason Nichols, Morris Ray Nalley, Alan Nalley, Danny Dunn, Preston Taylor, and Christian McGown.
