He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Maryleen Duncan Richardson, son John Richardson Jr. and daughter Kathleen Richardson.
Survivors include son, Ros Richardson and wife Vickie, grandchildren; Roswell Richardson and wife Erica, RheAnna King and husband Joey, Joleen Wilbanks and husband Todd and four Great Grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday August 19, 2019 from 1:00- 2:45 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at 3:00 p.m. at the Athens City Cemetery with Kenny Baskins officiating.
Pallbearers will be Roswell Richardson, Joey King, Johnny Garth, Dewayne Raney, John Deemer and Garrett Anderson.
