Joyce LeRuth Richardson

Visitation is 1-2:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Richardson died Friday Aug. 15, 2014, at home.

She was born May 6, 1928, in Limestone County to Russell and Laura Mae Menefee.

She always worked in sales; she retired from Belk’s and Cracker Barrel.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Joe Richardson and Mark Richardson; one daughter, Wanda Sims; two sisters, Jane Ola Hinkle and Peggy Griffin, five grandchildren Michael Johnson, Michelle Johnson Ezell, Byron Richardson, Heather Webb and Melinda Sweeny; nine great-grandchildren, Sage and Jazzy Johnson, Belle Richardson, Miranda and Ian Ezell, Claire and Luke Webb, Josie and Hunter Sweeny.

Pallbearers are Russ Griffin, Wesley Legg, John Harris, Michael Johnson, Barry Ezell, Don Turner, Daryl Turner and Byron Richardson.

We extend a special thanks to Michael and Amanda Blackmon and family for the special care given to our mother.
