A Graveside Service will be held Sunday February 19, 2017 at 2 P.M. at Sandlin Cemetery.
She was born July 2, 1941, in Limestone County, AL to Eugene Franklin Rose and Alice Pearlene Allison Rose.
She is preceded in death by one son Kim Wade Pitts, one daughter Charlotte Pitts.
She is survived by her two sons Johnny Dale Pitts and wife Peggy of Athens, J.D. Barnett, Jr. of Athens, two daughters Judie Ann Powell and husband William of Huntsville, and Anna Marie Pitts of Athens, AL, mother Alice Rose of Athens, brother Eugene Franklin Rose, Jr. and wife Trish of Indiana, two sisters Margaret Huddleston and husband Dave of Ohio, Betty Nichols and husband Hershel of Elkmont, 7 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
