Marvelene Thomas Williams, age 91 of Athens, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at her residence. Graveside service will be Monday, February 13, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Sammy Gossett officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Mrs. Williams was born September 27, 1925 to Oscar McLemore and Flossie Schrimsher McLemore.
Survivors include: three sons Mike Thomas, Derrell Thomas, Jack Thomas and wife Debbie all of Athens; five grandchildren, Courtney McGraw, Karen Garner, Callie DeWeese, Matt Thomas, and Maggie Keller; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbeareres will be: Wayne McGraw, Matt Thomas, Joey Garner, Jacob Garner, Adam Keller, and Nick Sandlin.
