He was born January 1, 1932 in Birmingham, AL to Roy and Lila Meacham Banks.
He is a US Army Veteran and was a Supervisor for Dayton Superior.
He was preceded in death by his parents
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Dean Banks, his son Robert Banks JR (Linda) , daughters; Linda Braden (Barney), Mary Ann Banks , 6 grandchildren ,8 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Saturday October 19, 2019 at Roselawn Cemetery at 2PM.
Visitation will be Saturday October 19, 2019 1-1:45 PM at the Funeral Home.
