Mr. Morris was born June 11, 1951 in Michigan to Guin Morris and Shirley Lancaster Morris.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Stanley Ross Morris, Jr., and one brother, Perry Morris.
Survivors include two daughters, Valerie Savage (Shaun) of Athens; Michelle Roberts of Greenbrier; three brothers, Trelynn Morris of Scottsboro; Roger Morris (Sandy) of Athens; Kenny Morris of Birmingham; seven grandchildren, Josh Usery, Brandon Morris, Garlon Slaton, Katie Morris, Shaun Savage, Jr., Kayla Savage, and Mackenzie Morris.
There will be a graveside service Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12-1:15 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home.
