
A native of Athens, GA Mrs. Bryant was the daughter of the late Marion Page Holliday and Henry Campbell Holliday and was preceded in death by her husband, Q.L. Bryant, Jr. She attended Athens High and then went to Sullens in Bristol, TN for her senior year and graduated from there. Mrs. Bryant earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from The University of Georgia and her post graduate degree in microbiology from the Medical College of Georgia. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and The Louisville Garden Club in Louisville, GA. Mrs. Bryant’s grandfather, W.D. Page was the mayor of Augusta during World War II.
Survivors include children and step children, Stacey Hughes and husband, John, Mack Dana Jones, Jr. and wife, Ranci, JJ Waters, and Vic Jones and wife, Maura; sister, Page Bowden; grandchildren, Eleanor and Jack Hughes, Jeffrey and Michael Waters, Dan Lovelock, and Penny Jones, and great-grandchild, Sailor Waters.
A graveside service will be held 11AM Friday, December 18th at Louisville City Cemetery, Louisville, Georgia.
