Born October 13, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio, he grew up in Silver Springs, Maryland. Barry graduated from The Ohio State University and The University of Maryland medical school. After a distinguished career in medicine in Baltimore, Chicago and Georgia Dr. Wolk retired to Athens, Georgia.
He had a great love of the theater, sports, all things Ohio State and the Masters Golf tournament, where he was a volunteer for many years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Phillis, daughters, Amy and Dana (Blake) son, Brian (Julie); brother, Stan (Deena) and three beautiful grandchildren.
