

A native of the Philippines, Mrs. Hilario was preceded in death by her husband, Rustico Erotido Hilario. She was a school teacher in the Philippines for more than 20 years and taught History. When she moved to the United States with her husband, she worked as a clock assembler for Westclox and retired from that company.
Survivors include sons, Eddie Hilario and Edwin Hilario both of Athens; daughters, Juanita Garcia, of the Philippines, Angelina Nayve of Athens, and Evelyn Ricafort of West Covina, CA; Bernardina had 12 grandchildren, Amanda Wilson, Gerry Garcia, Jojo Garcia, Gaylord Garcia, Joel Nayve, Michael Nayve, Racquel Crook, Rawin Hilario, Niway Montano, Paola Hilario, Aaron Ricafort, and Alvin Ricafort, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:30AM Wednesday, August 19th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Dr. Mel Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-9PM Tuesday, August 18th at Bernstein.
