Beverly Fritch Parrott

The Lord Jesus has called this beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother to be with him in heaven, her family lovingly at her side, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born June 25, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois. She spent her childhood in New Orleans before moving to Atlanta, where she attended Sacred Heart Catholic High School. She attended the University of Georgia as a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, and was Sweetheart of Lambda Chi Fraternity.

Married to Charles Parrott, Jr. in 1958, they both taught school in Daytona Beach, Fl, and then moved back to Athens, where she lived as his wife for 52 years. She was a homemaker and wonderful mother. Everyone always admired her beautiful smile and friendliness.

She was a member of the Junior League of Daytona Beach Florida, the Junior League of Athens, a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and Athens Country Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Mary Fritch of Jacksonville, Florida, and a grandson Wesley Easter of Atlanta.

Survivors include her husband Charles Parrott, Jr., three daughters, Cecelia Easter of Atlanta, Christina (David) Hull of Washington, DC, and Anne Marie Joyce (John) of Winnetka, Illinois. Six grandchildren, Charles Easter of Atlanta, GA, Caroline and David Hull, Jr. of Washington, DC, Jack, Charlie, and Anne Marie Joyce, of Winnetka, Illinois. A brother, Donald Fritch of Key Largo, Florida.

The family is grateful for the wonderful caregivers Tamara Holt, Tamika Mitchell, Betty Adams, and the Staff at St. Mary’s Hospice House, who cared lovingly for her during her last years.

Visitation, Friday January 7th, 5:00p-7:00p at Bernstein Funeral Home, 3195 Atlanta Highway, Athens, Ga. 30606.

Funeral mass , Saturday January 8th, 1pm at Saint Joseph Catholic Church,134 Prince Avenue, Athens, GA. 30606.

A private burial for family will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made in her honor to St. Joseph’s Catholic School building fund, 134 Prince Ave, Athens, GA 30606.
