Born September 14, 1947 in Athens, Kay was the daughter of the late Robert "Bobby" McLeroy and the late Hilda Hopkins McLeroy. She was a 1965 graduate of Athens High School and she attended the University of Georgia before working as Voter Registrar for Clarke County.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, James "Jim" Becker; her daughter, Suzanne Kay Davis; son, Nicholas Becker and his wife Lauren; stepson, James Ryan "Jay" Becker and wife, Becca; her sister, Debora McLeroy Marsden; niece, Kate Marsden; nephew, Jared Marsden and wife, Kim; grand-nieces, Samantha and Molly Marsden; and aunt, Betty Webber.
Kay enjoyed travel, especially cruises. She's also survived by her cats, Abner and Daisy.
A private viewing and graveside service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to mark her passing are invited to make a donation to the charity of their choice.
