Charles Wedincamp, age 86, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025, in Crawford. Born in Baxley on November 5, 1938, Charles was a Bogart native. He was the son of the late Silas and Maude Wedincamp. He retired from Merial.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Charles Wedincamp of Bogart; and his brother, Doyle Wedincamp of Baxley.
Survivors include his sisters: Barbra, Betty and Wilma; his daughters: Charlotte Church, Janet Self (Charles Jr.) of Farmington and Cynthia Mincey of Bogart; his grandchildren: Brandon Thornton (Frankie) of Colbert, Ashley Hardman (Brandon) of Watkinsville, Kimberly Bear of Crawford, Allison Mace (Miles) of Tucson, Arizona, Keith Faulk (Amy) of Farmington, Amber Douglas and Dillion Self (Danielle) of Farmington, Matt Land (Dawn) of Poulan and Jake Land of Baxley; as well as his great-grandkids: Kyle and Bryce Thornton, Charlie Hardman, Camden and Gracelynn Bear, Holly and Myles Mace; and many more who he loved dearly.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
