Shane was born in Greer, South Carolina and lived in Athens as a young boy, before moving to Greenville, SC and returned to Hull two years ago. He attended Family Worship Center in Winterville and worked as a welder. Shane enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching NASCAR and was an avid UGA Football fan.
He is survived by his mother, Katrina Christian and her husband, Dennis of Hull; father, Randy Young Spartanburg, SC; daughter, Kelsi Hagan of Duncan, SC; sister, Jamie Benson and her husband, Shawn of Maysville; brothers, Travis Young and Adam Young; maternal grandmother, Henrietta Wade of Athens and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 12:30 to 1:30 PM Saturday, June 13, 2020 in Bernstein Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 PM Saturday, June 13, 2020 in the Chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Cowart and Pastor Derek Jackson officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
