Born in Athens, Mrs. Hancock was a retired secretary for United Insurance Company. She was the widow of Pete Hancock.
Mrs. Hancock is survived by one son, Jay Hancock of Athens.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 11 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home.
