A native of Athens, GA, Mrs. McLeroy was the daughter of the late Hugh and Flora Yarborough Lord and was preceded in death by her husband, James “Red” Edward McLeroy Jr. She was a member of Johnson Drive Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Alvin King and wife, Josephine, Charles King and wife, Sandra, and Jim McLeroy and Renee Bailey; 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, January 9th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev Hoyt Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday, January 8th at Bernstein.
