A native of Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Helen Karazanos Kachavos and was preceded in death by her husband, George Parthemos. Mrs. Parthemos was a founding member of St. Philothea Greek Orthodox Church where she was still a very active member.
Survivors include a daughter Elaine P. Stephens and husband Dan of Sandy Springs, Ga.; son Steven G. Parthemos of Charlotte, NC: brother George Kachavos of Tampa, Fl. and granddaughter Alexandra Stephens of Sandy Springs.
Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday, May 22nd at St. Philothea Greek Orthodox Church with Father Anthony Salzman officiating. Interment will follow in Oconee Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive guest Monday, May 21st, from 6-8pm at Bernstein.
