A native of Athens, Mr. Robinson was a son of the late Charles Edward Robinson and Irene Nulley Robinson. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a retired security officer.
Survivors include wife, Angela Bone Robinson; sons, Arthur Robinson (Karen) and Austin Robinson, all of Watkinsville; daughter, Hazel Whitlock of Jackson County; sister, Janice Chrisley of Jackson County; three granddaughters.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
