

A native of Athens, Mrs. Perkins was the daughter of the late James Curtis McClain and Carrie Edwards McClain and was preceded in death by her husband Henry Frank (Jack) Perkins, who she married on May 19, 1945 in Athens. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Mrs. Perkins worked for the Hope Haven School for disabled children for 10 years, the American Cancer Society and was a charter member of Saint James United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons Douglas W. Perkins and wife Janice Gerret Perkins of Mont Joy, PA and Donald L Perkins and wife Sally Begley Perkins of Helena, AL, grandchildren Scott Perkins and wife Martha Perkins of East Petersburgh, PA; Benjamin Perkins and wife Pamela Perkins of Bainbridge, PA; Brett Perkins and Kaylee Perkins both of Helena, AL; great grandchildren Kyle Perkins and Annabelle Perkins of Bainbridge, PA and Jasmine Perkins of East Petersburg, PA.
Graveside services will be 2PM Tuesday, September 27 at Oconee Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Bernstein from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.
