Linda Sue Motichek

Born July 24, 1952, Linda was the daughter of the late Horace Barrett and Lucille Johnson Barrett. She attended Duluth High School and in her younger years was a Sunday school teacher and soloist at Trinity United Methodist Church. Linda was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughters: Michelle Walker and Lori Walker; son, Darrell Walker; and siblings: Frank Barrett and Bobby Barrett.

Survivors include spouse of 33 years, Keith Motichek of Winterville; children: Billy Walker (Angela) of Athens, Tina Truman (Howard) of Dacula, Tammy Reynolds (partner Tim Truman) of Snellville, Larry Walker (Rachel) of Gillsville, Connie Walker of Crawford and Stacey Reynolds of Athens; siblings: Johnny Barrett of Loganville, Dan Barrett (Janet) of Lawrenceville, Deborah Barrett of Cornelia and Patsy Thomas of Buford; 16 grandchildren: Christina Warbington, Angeleah Goldsmith, Abree Truman, Adam Green, Jr., Brittany Ritchie, Patrick Walker, Brenda Reynolds, Cody Beloin, Katelynn Radford, Mackenna Walker, Brayden Walker, Lyndi Casper, Jonathan Casper, Jr., Caleb Reynolds, Kyra Reynolds, Kaylee Reynolds; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 23, at 1:00 p.m., at the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Morris Hansard officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
