A native of South Hampton, NY Ms. Turpin was the daughter of the late Gerson and Betty Iona Bennett Helfant. She was a friend of Bill’s and was proud of her recovery. Ms. Turpin joined the church at an early age.
Survivors include son, Patrick Turpin of Athens and close friend, Sheresa Hunter of Athens.
A memorial service will be held 2PM Sunday, June 7th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
