She was born November 12, 1958 and was a graduate of the University of Georgia. She was employed for 30 years with the Georgia Department of Corrections ending as the Deputy Director of Field Probation Operations and then for the Georgia Department of Pardons and Paroles as Director of the Training Academy. After retiring in 2014 from employment with the State of Georgia, she began work as an instructor with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother. Survivors include husband, Mark Waldron; daughter and son-in-law, Corie Elizabeth and Josh Robinson; son, William Davis Lance; grandson, Carson Joshua Robinson; granddaughter, Tatum Jewell Robinson; and brother, Brad D. Davis.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 11 from 6-8 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 12 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home.
