

Mrs. Bradley was born October 3, 1925, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Forrest and Annie Ward and was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bradley; sister, Sue Wise, and brother, Pat Ward. She moved to Athens in 1955, where she met and married Fred Bradley. She was a true southern lady who always presented herself with grace and elegance. She loved her family more than anything. As a kind and loving person, she made many new friendships at the assisted living facility with the wonderful people that cared for her. They loved her kindness and fun personality. Mrs. Bradley also loved to travel, and traveled with many friends and her sister Sue Wise. She had a passion for life that never faded and had lived life to the fullest even in the most difficult times. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Survivors include her brother, Neal Ward; daughter, Tina Harbert and son-in-law, Tom Harbert, son, Allen and daughter-in-law, Lila Bradley, and five grandchildren Bradley Harbert, Will Bradley, Allie Harbert, Lucy Bradley, and Joe Bradley. She is survived by friends and family that she cherished so much.
Funeral services will be held 5PM Wednesday, August 7th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home in Athens. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at Bernstein.
