Margaret Busha Hamlett

A native of DeKalb County, Mrs. Hamlett was the daughter of the late Milton and Dessie Mae Busha and was also preceded in death by her husband Floyd G. Hamlett and great granddaughter Anita Dantzer Watson. She was a retired accountant with Scientific Atlanta and former member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include sons, Lee Hamlett and wife, Billie of Bogart and Grady Hamlett and wife, Barbara of Plano, TX; grandchildren, Eric Hamlett of Plano, TX., Veronica Graham and husband Matt of Boston, MA and Donna Hamlett of Bogart; great grandchildren, Ashley Hembree and Amber Hogan; great-great grandchildren, Adrian and Joshua Hough and Jaxon Hembree.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, May 29th in the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Interment will follow at 3 PM at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

The family will receive friends at Bernstein beginning at 10 AM Thursday.
