A native of Athens, Mr. Hill was the son of Jeffrey E. Hill and Lisa Stewart Hill of Watkinsville. He worked for the Georgia Department of Natural Resource as part of the stream survey team.
Survivors in addition to his parents include wife, Katharine Andrews Hill of Athens; brother, Jonathan Stewart Hill of Watkinsville; maternal grandmother, Martha Dewald of Decatur and maternal grandfather, Charles Ashley Stewart of Watkinsville.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
