Michele was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota but over the course of her life lived across the world. Tokyo, London, Atlanta, Chicago, and other minor cities in the US were places she was able to also call home. However, her true home was in Greensboro, on Lake Oconee.
Her love of travel and world adventures led to her fluency in French and Japanese. And, after a few trips to Italy, she began studying Italian. To relax, Michele would paint copies of works from famous artists.
At times, Michele would joke that she was a chauffeur for three extremely important clients: her boys. In life, her children were her greatest priority. And, after moving to Atlanta, this came to include Russell, one of the boys closest and lifelong friends. She was a mother first, and the best one at that.
She is survived by her three sons: Brandon, Matthew, and Jonathan; as well as her parents; two sisters; brother; and many nieces and nephews.
